Pick a material and model, then add holes. The panel below shows the top of the chassis flattened out with the front and back walls unfolded above and below it, so holes for potentiometers on those walls can be placed the same way as holes on the top.

Distances are measured to the exact centre of each hole (marked with a black dot), from the very bottom of the unfolded shape (the outer edge of the front wall) and from the nearest side — so front-wall, top and back-wall holes all share one consistent datum, the way a flat-pattern drawing is normally dimensioned. Diameter and both distance fields are editable; holes are kept at least 5 mm apart and inside the outline automatically.
