The NSS 6D22S is a glass-envelope power diode for use as a half-wave rectifier in high-quality audio amplifiers. The 6D22S features very slow warm-up (30 seconds typical), making it an excellent, rugged power-on delay device for audio amplifiers. Its warm-up time is longer than that of common rectifiers and it is lower in cost than electronic delay relays. Its high pulse current capability gives sound quality which is superior to most rectifier tubes.

Innovative design and precision construction give the NSS EL34 exceptionally smooth tone and an ideal balance of pleasing even-order harmonics while virtually eliminating undesirable odd-order harmonics. This tube is manufactured to the original Mullard design and gives electrical and audio performance very similar to that of the original Mullard EL34. Ideally suited to Marshall guitar amplifiers and all Hi-Fi applications.

 The NSS SV83 is a miniature glass-envelope power pentode intended for use as a driver or output tube in high-quality audio amplifiers. Features include plate dissipation of 12 watts; low distortion; high transconductance; internal shielding for low hum pickup. The highly linear SV83 is similar to the EL84 with the exception of basing connections, but the maximum screen grid voltage is 200 volts. It can be used in vintage hi-fi amps that are not ultra-linear designs such as Fisher, Scott and EICO integrated or basic EL84 designs. It must not be used in any vintage Heathkit, Dynaco or Acrosound amplifiers due to higher screen grid voltages. You can also use the SV83 in custom designed equipment. It is very musical and has a plate dissipation rating of 12 watts.
