All valves listed in our catalogue are available from stock at the time of printing with the exception of items listed POA which are subject to availability.
We stock current production valves as well as new (unused) old stock (NOS).
We stock over 1500 different type numbers so if the type you require is not listed, please contact us. Many valves have one or more equivalent type numbers which we can reference from published data books.
Orders can be placed by mail, telephone, fax or email.
Goods may be collected from our premises by prior arrangement. Please call 24 hrs ahead to make an appointment.
Early valves came in several different envelope styles as shown below. If you require a special style, please indicate on your order. In the absence of instructions we will ship the most common or readily available style. In most cases this should not affect the operation of the equipment.
MATCHING
Matching of current production power tubes is included in the advertised price.
Matching of pre-amplifier tubes can be done for $2 per tube.
Matching of NOS and other low inventory types may not be possible, but will be advised on enquiry.
PRICING
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars. Our web site prices are current at the time of publishing but due to the fact that many valves are no longer manufactured, the availability and prices are subject to change without notice.
Current production valves are also subject to variations in exchange rates, duty and taxes. All valves/tubes are new or tested to be equivalent to new with the exception of rare vintage tubes from the 1920s and early 1930s. In many cases good used valves can be supplied at less than two-thirds of the new cost.
AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMERS are advised that the 10% GST (tax) price should be used.
This is not applicable to overseas customers.
PACKING & HANDLING A $2.50 packing and handling fee will be charged on all postal orders.
SHIPPING/INSURANCE
For an accurate postal charge please contact us via Phone, Fax or E-mail and we will be able to advise postage costs for your order.
Australia Post EXPRESS Post overnight to major Australian centres is available. INSURANCE is NOT available with Express Post.
$8 for 500g maximum, $11 for 3kg maximum. Call for a quote for bulky packages or weights over 3kg.
BOOK postage costs are separate and will be quoted on application.
Please advise address or postcode so we can calculate postage costs.
Insurance is optional at Customer expense. Title of goods passes to the customer when goods leave our warehouse, so if in doubt, ask for insurance. If the value of the goods ordered for postage within Australia is AU$50 or less, insurance is automatically provided by Australia Post. Current insurance costs (within Australia - as at November 14, 2006) are $2.60 for registration and $1.15 for each $100 or part thereof in excess of the 1st $100.
INTERNATIONAL All International shipping will be at actual postage cost plus a $2.50 handling fee.
Insurance on orders exceeding $100 will be taken at Customer expense.
PAYMENT
Payment may be made by VISA, MasterCard, Money Order, cheque, Australia Post COD or Direct Bank Deposit.
International orders accepted by Visa, MasterCard, International Money Order or Bank Draft payable in Australian Dollars. Please download a copy of our Order Form, fill in the details and fax it to us.
Please include a signature with all credit card orders.
GUARANTEE
All new valves are guaranteed to meet manufacturers’ specifications for 90 days from the date of shipment, except for breakage, open-circuit filament or when damaged by operation outside specifications. Used valves are guaranteed for 30 days.
Please contact us if you experience any difficulties or problems with our products. Do not return items without contacting us and getting a return authority. The fault or symptoms should be listed on a separate piece of paper. Please do not write on valves or boxes. Our warranty is limited to replacing the faulty product.

Orders may be placed by telephone, fax or Email. We recommend sending payment details by fax for security. A copy of our order form can be printed and faxed to us.
